As I was the X-Momentum Student(2014-2015) so I am eligible to answer about this question. No Doubt, Momentum Gorakhpur is one of the best coaching for IIT JEE preparation in Purvanchal [UP] or Bihar, but every coaching have its Pro and Cons so Momentum Coaching have also.

Introduction :
In Past of Gorakhpur (around 2008) there are two main coaching famous 1st ABC classes and 2nd Momentum. Main teacher of ABC classes also divided or separated or leave around 201X (not remembered exact year ). My Big brother is topper and X-student of ABC classes in 2008 and cleared IIT(Advanced) and AIEEE(JEE). Recent years, he is working as a Data Scientist in Product based company located in Pune. On that time ABC class is famous and also on the top in Gorakhpur but from 2013 onwards Momentum Coaching Classes on the top.
In my preparation time Every Coaching provide Demo classes. We (Me and my Friends) rides cycles to reach coaching’s and attend as much as possible Demo class and then decide in which coaching we have to take admission. So I took admission in Momentum after qualifying Momentum Talent Search Examination for scholarship. In General on that time students haven’t Smart Phone [ Not introduced JIO] as compared to this time. We have to go for Internet café.
Analyse Yourself –
Before Investing Money and Taking admission in any coaching Analyse Yourself and Asked yourself. Below are the Some Basic Questions. Don’t Follow the Crowd.
- Are you really interested for Engineering ?
- Have you command on Time management, Emotions, Pressure Handling? (Main Role )
- Did you have habit for revision and remember what you study last day, week, month ? (Main Role )
- Are you Hard Working Students ?
- Are you Self Motivated person ?
- Have you Enough Money (reality because coaching fees are high) ?
Note: I Have tried below to provide you all a valuable opinion and not biased or not promoted views (opinion). You have to self decide whether Momentum Gorakhpur is good or not for IIT JEE preparation.

Momentum Coaching Fees For IIT JEE preparation is high as compared to any other coaching’s centre in Gorakhpur.
but in comparison to Kota Fees are Normal. Akash Institutes/Coaching have one of the highest Coaching Fees for IIT JEE Preparation. I am trying to provide Some authentic data in last. Maximum Coaching Centre doesn’t mentioned Fees on their pamphlet or Website.
Momentum Coaching Fees for NEET Preparation is medium as compared to any other coaching centre in Gorakhpur. Akash Institutes/Coaching have one of the highest Coaching Fees for NEET Preparation.
How are the Teachers at Momentum’s classes, Gorakhpur?
Director of Momentum BetiaHata is Arvind Tripathi and Vikas Agrawal. The faculty is absolutely talented, They have different teachers for different topics. No doubt Arvind Tripathi (HOD, Chemistry) and Vikas Agrawal (HOD, Physics) is one of the best Teachers in Purvanchal[UP] and main Teachers in its Coaching Centre. As Math Faculty and Bio Faculty is new for me from Momentum BetiaHata so I can’t comment but I am supposed that other Faculty is also good.
Teachers teach well and make more focus on study but not on one to one students. Till now I found only one drawback that is they teach almost 200- 250 students in a classroom. So you have to reach half an hour early and secure your place.
Due to lot of rush almost 200 -250 students in one class Just like Kota environment, if you ask doubts to main teachers you have to cross the crowds to reach first for clearing your doubts.
Overall saying Momentum BetiaHata is a good Coaching institute to take you to IIT or NIT or AIIMS , if you are Hard working.
Environment is also good in this coaching and competitive. Almost all Test are conducted at proper time whatever schedule they provide in different locations of Gorakhpur.
Director of Momentum Chatra Sangh Chowk (separate Coaching or entity From Momentum BetiaHata) is Sir Sanjeev Kumar (Maths). Sanjeev Kumar is also a good teacher but teaching methodology is not good as Arvind sir and Sanjeev Sir.
Which Momentum Coaching classes is the best?
I again cleared that I didn’t promote and I only put here my genuine opinion or views what I feel that Momentum BetiaHata (Arvind Tripathi and Agrawal) is best based on there teaching methodology. As I experienced Tripathi and Agarwal sir is the best teacher of chemistry and physics in Gorakhpur whatever they teach totally understandable and easy to learn which I didn’t got physics and chemistry education in school or any other Coaching’s.

Is there are two Separate Coaching of Momentum classes (preparation for IIT/NEET) in Gorakhpur? –
I heard from my friends that Momentum coaching classes divided into two parts. I didn’t believe this news due to emotional connection but its happened. I have seen many places in and out of the Gorakhpur that separate Hoarding , Banners and poster of Sanjeev sir only and other places Arvind Tripathi and Vikas Agrawal sir. On that time I didn’t realize that partition or separation of this coaching happened that’s why hoarding or poster or banners are separate.

Materials –
The Coaching Study Material is almost good. Many Students say that Momentum Coaching Material copied from Coaching classes from Kota but it doesn’t matter to you, student have only focus to quality of materials so it is good. They provide booklet for all Topics over period of time when classes are running. Booklet material is good as my point of view.
Suggestions –
Most and Necessary point is Retaining Power, Time management Revision of Topics [syllabus] and strategy to handle the pressure and difficulties. Otherwise you can’t qualify JEE.
Strict warning to all aspirants whenever you prepared for IIT JEE, Whenever you solved Booklet don’t try to solve all questions leave
the question which are repeated. Also leave the Question which you have tried and not solved (after 2-3 times) and marks the questions
and solve again after some time or days if still not solved then asked the respective teacher. In this preparation time of your life your
most valuable key is Time so respect it.
As I know this main teacher only taught to 11th and 12th and 12th passed student. So I don’t know about who teaches student of class 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th 10th.
My Suggestion to all parents that don’t post your views and opinion on your kids from from very early age let them to explore that what they are in interested. Don’t follow crowd (Bheed chaal) . In one year Lakh of students participate Only 10,000 student qualify for IIT JEE and took admission and similar for NEET also.
Sir should i opt for hybrid classes in momentum chhatra sang chowk (where they teach for both boards and jee) or should i continue studying in my school (gn nationalPublic) and manage both school and coaching.
Sorry for the late reply and for approving your comment. I suggest you go for momentum betiahata for physics and chemistry if they are hybrid classes (taught by Vikas sir and Arvind sir). I don’t know about the math teacher so I cannot comment. If you ask for a method of teaching then momentum chatra Sangh chowk I definitely do not like Sanjeev sir …..I prefer Awadesh Tripathi sir (EX- GN teacher).
I don’t know the real-time situation but GN is the most reputed school in Gorakhpur because they take highly qualified and good students from their entrance test otherwise GN also faces experienced teachers. You can select momentum betiahata hybrid classes(if available) on basis of my experience but do some research also and ask for your current going senior they will explain you better.
One thing don’t ignore – Time management, self-study, and practice are more important as compared to coaching selection if you selected any coaching then don’t think backward go with that.
